All work and no play makes a dull day! More importantly, the elementary school years in children's lives are some of the most formative in establishing the children's attitudes and later their life involvement in service to mankind. The teaching staff at Winter Haven work diligently in planning a variety of activities for the students. This page will feature students in play, service and various activities. We will add to this page in the future.

During a trip to MOSI's Bodies Exhibit, our own anatomy professor Joey Maier, explained to the older children the various parts of this wonderful body the Lord has given us. The younger children enjoyed the day in the "hands on" area of the Science Center at MOSI in Tampa Florida
The Annual Bike-a-Thon helps to raise funds for various classroom projects. The first and second graders traveled 10 miles, while the older children pedaled the entire 20 miles through the peaceful Florida country-side.
Thanks to all who made pledges helping to make the Annual Bike-a-Thon a success. The students enjoyed a victory party at Fazoli's for having bicycled the promised number of miles.
