2005-2006      Winter Concert Series Features   Calvin Taylor Pianist Extraordinaire Seventh-day Adventist Church of Winter Haven March 18, 2006 -- 6:00 P.M.

Dr. Calvin Taylor (sounds stuffy and impersonal) is not only a virtuoso at the keyboard, but has remarkable gifts of humor, personality and showmanship that totally remove the feelings of "stuffy and impersonal." Taylor invited pianists, "budding" pianists and even non-pianists to sit with him as he played score after score, varying the style and temperament of the music. For church He wove scripture and inspiration into his program. For concert, he blended classics, the familiar, patriotic, and popular numbers to create an atmosphere of music, praise, and intense listening pleasure.
