Friendship Ministry! It sounds nice, but what is it? At the lake, it takes the form of great sounds of laughter, fun, and a feeling of being "part of the family of God." There is witness time (That is when other boaters know who we are and why we are here.). There is sharing time (That is when other children of boating families are invited to join in on the fun and friendship.). There is time for laughter (That is when we feel the greatest bonding between the families and God.). Come along and join the "gang at the lake." You will never be the same again!

Some come to watch the festivities and others come to participate. In both cases, there is a never ending source of enjoyment and the spirit of fellowship and Christian comraderie draws the church families of both Winter Haven and Haines City together.

The Water Skiing Ministry is a wonderful way to fellowship in a setting that draws people together. The day and the attendance may change, but as these photos from the past show, the fun and the fellowship do not change. Here are some photos of past outings at Lake Roy.

Joey Maier provides instruction, and help as many of the young people learn to ski, kneeboard, wakeboard, or ride the tube. This ministry reaches out to the community as well, as several families who visit the beach have asked to be a part of the fun activities. Invitations to join Adventurers or Pathfinders always acompanies the new friendships.
