Friendship Ministry takes on many forms. At the lake, it takes the form of great sounds of laughter, fun, and a feeling of being "part of the family of God." The Winter Haven church family knows how to have a great time, and to share it with new friends. The second and fourth Sundays (weather and schedule permitting) usually finds between 20 and 40 people at the shore of Lake Roy. Great water, great friends equals great friendship ministry.

Joey Maier provides lessons, and many of the young people learn to ski, kneeboard, wakeboard, or ride the tube. This ministry reaches out to the community as well, as several families visiting the beach have asked to be a part of the fun activities. Invitations to join Adventurers or Pathfinders always acompanies the new friendships.

The Water Skiing Ministry is a wonderful way to learn to play together as well as to pray together. The young people learn to share, learn patience, and teamwork in order to help each other have a wonderful time.
